some people say that baguio is already decaying..

which means.. HINDI NA GANUN KAGANDA TULAD NG DATI.

baguio is said to be the summer capital, pines city,
and a good place for meditation.
tourists are also attracted to the cold weather.
a place for romance, vacation and Rest.

which is, People prefer to Live here.

but then, NASAN NA ANG FRESH COLD AIR AT MGA TREES Ng baguio?

for most people, baguio is now the wagwag city (some doesnt like this wagwagan
issues but others think that it contributes alot to the people)
some says, baguio is known for LAND SLIDES.
And Lastly, Korean city na daw. haha!
funny bt its true.
Korean na daw ang mas nagbebenefit than the real residents ng baguio.
(bka pwde pagusapan ng mas detalyado bout this topic cgro sa ibang thread)
nevertheless, these are all the reasons why baguio is a DECAYING CITY na "daw"

nalaman ko mga ito dahil sa REAL ESTATE.

WHICH, ang hirap ng magbenta ng bahay dahil sa DECAYING NA NGA "daw"
and people tend to sell their houses na.. to find a better place.

for the REALTORS out there..

any marketing strategy for this issues?

nice topic ma'am

...Baguio needs not much of Marketing
I think in my own opinion its a matter of choosing your target market
most likely OFWs or Balikbayans, to them owning a house or a lot here
indeed is worth investing,
the title "Summer Capital of the Philippines" is a short but enough
na ipag malaki sa mga prospects

I dont believe nor agree na Baguio is a decaying city
the word Baguio alone stands out compared to other Cities when it comes not only to realty..
& if these peeps insist that Baguio City is such.. no matter what..

the HANDSOME & BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE of Baguio like U po
will never stop making things SHINE

Re:DECAYING CITY 6 Years ago
kahit ganitong Online Buy and Sell Website wala sa iba.
d2 lang sa atin ito.

Many still come to Baguio for visit and relaxation.
As others say,the words "Decaying City" only imply to
those who are not gaining much from the city's income
or benefit much from the financial traffic the city generates.

I have been into many cities but the is no place like our own.
Availability of Pine trees, the areas temperature, the vast lands,
these are only few of the owning factors of our place.

As for marketing strategies, the target customers are mainly
from outside the city. Migration is the focus of your sales towards
the city's vicinity.

Re:DECAYING CITY 6 Years ago
IMO, if we say "decaying city" in general, i think that we are saying that everything good about this city is deteriorating..

With this, i honestly believe that not everything that is good about Baguio is now fading. We must put into account that change is inevitable. Some things about Baguio turned out to be better than before (development) and some things had gone worst. e.g traffic.

We can't help but compare Baguio to other cities but for me, Baguio is still the best city..(check out our thread regarding what do you like about Baguio) and these are the reasons why.

www.mybaguio.biz/component/option,com_fi...ew/id,29732/catid,4/

In the end selling properties really depend on the buyer. Even if a property is located on the most magnificent place on earth and the buyer doesn't want to buy it, no one could do anything about it..

And BTW if we say that Baguio is a decaying city, how come land value is increasing..

My only concern for baguio is:

For the City Government of Baguio to strictly implement the Legalized City Ordinances-- ano pang mga silbi nito pag d naman nasusunod...pero d naman natin masisisi lalo kung kulang ang manpower or tamad lang clang magpatupad nito...

ex.

Betel nut Spitting or spitting
Smoking public places
jaywalking
peddler mushrooming

Lastly ,, Discipline is what I think that is DECAYING here in our City which makes it DEGRADING

Usto Ba?
Sakit sa ilong

ahaha!
my pic p tlg ng "betel nut spit",
yeah

Discipline is what we need.
we have the laws, we have the place,
but we dont have the unity to preserve it.

tayo din po sumisira sa lugar natin.
development must start within ourselves po.
