DECAYING CITY 5 Years, 7 Months ago
some people say that baguio is already decaying..

which means.. HINDI NA GANUN KAGANDA TULAD NG DATI.

baguio is said to be the summer capital, pines city,
and a good place for meditation.
tourists are also attracted to the cold weather.
a place for romance, vacation and Rest.

which is, People prefer to Live here.

but then, NASAN NA ANG FRESH COLD AIR AT MGA TREES Ng baguio?

for most people, baguio is now the wagwag city (some doesnt like this wagwagan
issues but others think that it contributes alot to the people)
some says, baguio is known for LAND SLIDES.
And Lastly, Korean city na daw. haha!
funny bt its true.
Korean na daw ang mas nagbebenefit than the real residents ng baguio.
(bka pwde pagusapan ng mas detalyado bout this topic cgro sa ibang thread)
nevertheless, these are all the reasons why baguio is a DECAYING CITY na "daw"

and people tend to sell their houses na.. to find a better place.

for the REALTORS out there..

any marketing strategy for this issues?

Urbanization is inevitable.

Re:DECAYING CITY 5 Years, 7 Months ago
Tama.. Urbanization is Inevitable.

I have lived in this wonderful city in the last 4 years.

Let's make Baguio city habitable ulit.

-------------------------------------------
siguro kaya "people sell their houses" kasi wala ng pampaaral or...

alangan namang you'll leave Baguio exclusive for the rich & the famous.. may Balance pa din.
Kahit na sabihin mong "Baguio was originally a resort city when it was conceived..."

ate, wala ng FRESH AIR dito sa Baguio, go North pa if you still wanna experienced virgin environment.
MARKETING STRATEGY lang yan to have lowlanders visit Baguio for the locals to have income.

Baguio is NOT a DECAYING City.. nahuhuli lang siguro sa urbanization.

Alam mo na.. we still give high regard to what the diverse Igorot tribes have to say.
Hindi natin pwede silang bale walain since this is their LAND, nakikitira lang tayo.

Baguio is an abundant city.

It's the people's WILL to IMPROVE their LIVES.
Wala silang balak na tumandang saleslady o gasoline boy.

Let's make the Best out of Baguio.

About the Koreans, may pinagkakakitaan naman ang mga unemployed, nagrereklamo ba sila?
Pasalamat pa nga sila dumating mga kumag na yon to compensate the Jobs na hindi kayang i-provide ng Government & Local Sector.
May natutunan sila, may pang SM ka pa!
It's a WIN-WIN situation.

Here's my take.. eh bakit ang Chinese?
Kadaming Chinese dito nagkalat sa Pinas.. nag-naturalization to tackle the market.
We embrace them more.. SM & Tiongsan.. etc..

Judgmental.

Huwag lang nating pabayaan na aangas angas sila dito / exploit our human resource.

Let's work our way out pataas, tulungan.
Sa lupa din naman hahantungan nating lahat and eventually be judge by our Creator.
----------------------------------------

And as for the MARKETING STRATEGY...

"RES IPSA LOQUITOR"
Let the Product Speak for Itself

Quality > Quantity.

future Camp John Hay?

This is BAGUIO. This is OUR HOME.
Pagandahin at alagaan pa natin. =)

Decaying city? says who???? as stated above ...yan ang sabi ng realtors kasi di na sila nakakabenta...no offense meant but kanino ba sila nagbebenta ...for sure iilan ilan lang ang taga baguio na nabentahan nila (read between the lines).....have they though of it that they are also contributors for baguio's big population?

pls do note that baguio is north luzon's economic hub so people from all walks of life tend to come here for all sorts of activities including in-migration. as of 2007 baguio's actual population was 301,926 with a growth rate of 2.5% a year. if projected, population for 2011 is 334,280(tama ba?)anyways,di na natin maibabalik ang dating baguio na kinagisnan natin, we should learn to adapt with the current situation and preserve what is left of it (kung meron man)..............
